The brand new patented Flatmatic design incorporates the APFT(Automatic Pivoting Folding Temples), an engineering masterpiece that took over a year of researching to develop, test and perfect. The folding temples incorporate a camshaft mechanism that automatically unfolds the glasses once the carry case is opened. Previous fold-flat frames had required the wearer to unfold the glasses manually. With the Flatmatic, just open the case and they are ready to use! A new double mounting system has been used to securely fix the light-weight temples and Grilamid bridge to the rimless lenses. The non-allergenic silicon nose pads are mounted on pre-stressed steel supports and comfortably suit all face sizes and shapes. The Flatmatic optical frames are available in a large number of variations to suit all tastes - any combination of 9 colours and 5 different lens shapes. These self-opening glasses fit into a 13mm thin, tough silver and transparent case.
